Black Hills Snow Adventures~
Be prepared for snow fun!

In the Black Hills, snow and winter is a 6 month long deal. Seriously.

Although we like to stay home, staying warm and snuggling on the couch in front of the fire watching movies, you just can't do that for 6 months straight.

So we have our Black Hills winter snow fun sports to keep us happy, happy, happy...and in shape!

You pretty much name the activity, and if we do it in the summer, well then, we do it in the winter too!

Hiking, biking, horseback riding, snow skiing (ok, we don't do this one in the summer) fishing and snowmobiling (ok, not this one in summer either).

Around here, some of the local favorite snow fun activities are skiing up at our local Terry Peak, or Mystic Mountain ski slopes.

Avid skiers have yearly passes, which makes skiing more affordable, especially if you have your own gear.

If you are visiting during the winter months and want to hit our slopes, check out Terry Peaks pricing below. They have gear right there for you to rent.

Just up the Highway you will find Mystic Mountain (aka Deer Mountain).

If snow skiing isn't your thing, and you are uncoordinated, or, afraid of falling and breaking something (me) then Mystic Mountain snow tubing may be for you!

Check out what the tube runs look like below.

They are fast, and they are fun!

Have you been through a SD winter? It is cold and long, but always beautiful!

Where would you like to go next?
